The path of healing can be daunting, but we just need to begin.

For over three decades I provided the transformative healing of holistic chiropractic care, from bustling Chicago to historic Izmir, Turkey, where I cared for Turkish civilians and the families of NATO workers and military personnel. Upon my return to the US, I settled in Iowa City, where I balanced patient care and 28 years of academic service with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

From my own experiences with childhood respiratory disease and, over time, various injuries resulting from falls from horseback, being tossed down a mountain from the back of a motorcycle, a glacier-skiing accident, a near drowning, and being the sidewalk pedestrian in a severe bicycle-pedestrian collision (resulting in a second brain trauma), I deeply understand the grit it takes to rebuild yourself from the ground up with an 'eye of the tiger' mindset.

When we hear "You seem okay" or "You look okay"--and yet inside we're struggling with anxiety, physical stress, and emotional pain--it can disrupt the sense of calm within our heart and our sense of feeling at home in our body, mind, and spirit.

As I know from experience, healing is a nonlinear path; and it's more than relieving pain. It takes a village of helping hands to gently guide you toward your North Star of wholeness. As a result, I'm currently pursuing training and certification in Therapeutic Coaching from the Optimum Health Clinic in London, England, and from the Embody Lab for somatic practices, both of which will deepen and enrich my ability to provide guidance and support through your healing journey.

The inspiring phrase "How can I help?" created the evolution--out of many holistic practices--that led to the creation of One Suite NeuroAlchemy, a calm space to help you find 'home' again.
